Euro 2024 - Rules

These rules should be read in conjunction with Plucky’s general sweepstake rules and terms and conditions. The general game rules can be found here: Game Rules.

Euro 2024 - Private Sweepstake Rules

  1. Plucky’s Euro 2024 Sweepstakes will run on the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship.

  2. The randomised process by which we assign each of the 24 qualified teams to 24 tickets is described in our general Rules of the Game.

  3. At the published Draw Start time, for each private sweepstake, Plucky will randomly assign an equal number of the available tickets between the participating customers. E.g. if your private sweepstake has 7 participating customers; each customer will be assigned 3 tickets. Whereas if your private sweepstake has 12 participating customers; each customer will be assigned 2 tickets. Any remaining unassigned tickets will be deemed non-runners for that private sweepstake. Please read the section on ‘Unfilled selections’ in the main game rules for more information.

  4. In all cases, each assigned ticket will be either scratched off by the customer or will be allocated by Plucky, where the customer is unable to participate in the ‘draw’ itself.

  5. The winner will be declared based on the team lifting the trophy, we call this a ‘1st Place Only’ sweepstake.

  6. In the case of private individual sweepstakes -

    • 1st Place Only Sweepstake - Winner receives 100% of the net pot. The net pot is 100% stakes less Plucky fees of 9.75%.

  7. In the case of sweepstakes being held in aid of charities or clubs

    • 1st Place Only Sweepstake - Winner receives 50% of the gross pot. The gross pot is the sum total of all sweepstake entry fees. From the remaining 50% of the gross pot, the charity or club receives 34.21%, with 7.5% payable to HMRC for Pool Betting Duty and Plucky receives fees of 8.29%.

  8. In the event of Unfilled selections should the winning team not have been selected then the runner-up will be deemed the winner. If the runner-up is also not selected then there will be a ‘dead heat’ declared between both losing semi-finalists. Should this still not determine a winner the process will be repeated with the four losing quarter-finalists and if required lastly with the 8 teams losing in the Round of 16. Once a dead-heat is declared the prize will be equally shared between the number of relevant ticket holders.

  9. In the case that any team withdraws from the tournament, then their replacement will still count. If no replacement is used then that customer will forfeit their stake in relation to that ticket.

  10. Winner’s funds will be credited to customer’s accounts within 60 minutes of the final whistle.

  11. In the unlikely event of some force majeure preventing the sweepstake from completing, all entries are voided and all funds will be credited back to customers’ accounts, less a small deduction to cover Plucky’s transaction costs. This will be a maximum of 5%.

  12. Plucky.com is not an official sponsor or in any way endorsed or affiliated with any brands, sports clubs, players or associated bodies, unless specifically mentioned.
